Troubleshooting

Here you will find instructions on basic troubleshooting for your electronic Hotel locks.  ALWAYS work on the locks with the door OPEN!  Test the lock before you let the door close!

First and foremost.... CLEAN the reader heads on the lock!

• Cleaning the locks with cleaning cards is as important as changing the oil in your car.
• Use cleaning cards on your locks at least ONCE a MONTH.
• Clean the encoder heads at least ONCE a WEEK.

 REPROGRAM the lock

• Reprogramming the lock normally fixes the problem.
• Get your encoder, go to the door, and simply do a re-program of the lock.
